Privacy Policy & Public Registry Disclosure
How Agape Church International protects your private contact information while disclosing exactly which credential fields appear in public verification lookups.
1. Information Collected Upon Application & Packet Reservation
When you apply for free ordination ($0) or reserve optional physical credential packets on ordainedministers.org, we collect your full legal name, email address, selected ceremony jurisdiction, optional mobile phone number, and mailing address (only if physical documents are requested). Draft checklist progress in our Officiant Workspace and 6-Lesson Course is stored locally in your browser’s localStorage.
2. Exact Fields Shown in Public Verification (/verify)
To allow couples and local recording officials to confirm whether an ordination credential was genuinely issued by Agape Church International, public lookups at /verify and /api/verify-lookup display only five fields: (1) Full Legal Name, (2) Credential ID (AG-YYYY-NNNNNN), (3) Reference State Code, (4) Issue Date, and (5) Ecclesiastical Standing Status.
Never published publicly: Your email address, mobile phone number, and street/mailing address are never exposed in public registry searches or JSON responses.
3. Analytics & No Third-Party Data Brokerage
We use aggregate web analytics (Google Analytics 4) to monitor site reliability and guide usage. We never sell, rent, or broker minister contact lists to third-party marketers.
4. Name Corrections, Public Search Opt-Out & Resignation
You may request a free legal-name correction, opt out of public name-based search (restricting lookup strictly to exact Credential ID), or resign your ecclesiastical ordination in writing at any time by contacting our Office of the Registrar at registrar@ordainedministers.org or submitting a ticket via /trust.
5. Printable Credential Privacy & Payment Security
Individual printable 3-page credential portfolios carry a noindex directive so personal certificate print layouts are not indexed by public search engines, while public verification pages at /verify display only the five non-contact registry fields listed in Section 2. Whenever optional physical embossed certificates or notarized Letters of Good Standing are ordered, payment card processing is handled via encrypted TLS checkout processors; Agape Church International never stores raw credit or debit card numbers on our application servers.
